Crisis Preparation and Recovery's masters level social workers are experienced in the healthcare setting. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist to in covering those times when your own workers are not available. Our workers will either come to the hospital or telephonically:
• Obtain the patient information from the hospital staff.
• Interview the patient when necessary.
• Determine the needed resources for the patient.
• Contact the resource and connect the resource to the patient. If the need is placement, then the worker will locate the appropriate facility and assist with the patient transfer.
• Provide verbal feedback directly to attending physician/and or nurse when appropriate.
• Provide a written report of the consult, with patient name, medical record number, date/time, and resources provided.
You only pay when a service is provided, thus saving you money. This also allows you to have a “safety net” of coverage without paying for a service that you are not using.
